According to Census taken from 2010 to 2017 , HIV increased in Pakistan by 127% in which only 2% of them were children up to 15 years of Age

But!

Interestingly this number Risen That much seriously that after finding out 46 children in karachi or Thalassemia and 14 children in RateDero of HIV , Voluntarily Testing and Counseling was done and The findings were

"Identified 930 individuals were Positive and From them 763 were children up to 15 years old"

These are the stats of April 2019 and It might have increased by 2020 and By July 2019 almost 500 of them were provided HIV care

Those children had symptoms of
• Moderate to severe Anemia
• Weight for Age below Normal
• Severe Immune Deficiencies

Alarmingly Most of The Mother's children were HIV positive Rather than the Fathers!


After taking Enough history what was found that most Of the Children has a History of Multiple times used Injections and Many of them had history of Blood transfusions as being patients of Thalassemia

So what was found that this 127% increased rate was found due to Main problems in the Health care provision Authorities that manage injections supplies and Poor Management of Donor Blood

You Need to Always Take the Basic Precautions At First.

  • Check Needles Must be Opened in front of you in Hospitals or Rather Buying New Ones By Yourself Before Getting them Used on Anyone From Your Family

  • Prefer Shaving by Yourself But if Not Possible, Ask the Barber to Use Disposable Blade Set and Make Sure they Open the New One in Front Of You

  • Avoid Sexual Contact With the Person with HIV and All The Foreplay Also That Comes Initially

  • Use Condoms Every time You Have Sex, Get Your Partner Tested for HIV and Avoid Multiple Sexual Partners

  • Avoid The Use of IV Drug Use, the Main Culprit of the Spread of this Disease

  • Before Blood Transfusions Get your Blood Thoroughly Checked and If any Problems are found in the companies , Make Sure No More people Get hurt!

  • If You Don't Have HIV but are at a high risk, Talk to your Family Consultant About Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis that Massively reduce the risk of getting the infection

  • Spread This Awareness to more local People rather the Ones that Know About It.
