So What is Lyme Disease?

It is Spread By the bites of Ticks only , there has been no any history of Lyme Disease being Transmitted through Physical Contact, Kissing, Sexual Contact or Blood Transfusions

Signs and Symptoms of Lyme's Disease Start From Mild Symptoms like
  • Flu Like Illness
  • Headache
  • Fever
  • Fatigue
To Severe Symptoms Like
  • Skin Rashes(Erythema Migrans)
  • Tender Joints (if left untreated)
  • Tender Adenopathy
  • Heart Block Secondary to Carditis

  • Joint Aspiration(to Exclude other causes of Septic Joint)
  • CSF Analysis (to check Aseptic Meningitis)
  • ECG (to exclude Carditis)

in his Instagram Story Justin Bieber Mentioned that this So Far incurable Disease, However it is sometimes considered in incurable as It is Treated with Antibiotics for 14 Days or more and most of the patients respond to the Treatment , but symptoms of this May persist from weeks to years till you feel completely well

the Antibiotics Used are as Prophylaxis (a single dose of Doxycycline)should be Started within 72hours after removing the tick from the Skin and Once Diagnosed Patient is Treated with Doxycycline for 10 days and Amoxicillin for 14 Days
