What Brought Us to Discuss Corona Virus?
Well Recently its all over the news that A Virus has Been identified in China , That is not a new Thing but the Bad news is that It has caused a massive chaos now a days in china and Its spreading to other countries as well but As we all are not Doctors here So I'll try to keep it very simple for you.
This Corona Virus was first Discovered in 1960s and Have been known to infect Birds and Cows but also Humans. There are many viruses but this Corona Virus is not a single Virus its a Family that has its own types , Its one of the types called as *Novel Strain* of Corona Virus or (nCoV) caused a massive Wave of Disease in Wuhan , China in December 2019 and Till now more than 500 cases has been diagnosed With Corona Virus (nCoV) out of which more than 25 people Dead. Now you know How Big of a deal this Virus can be and The Main problem here is If it comes in a community it is spread by Respiratory Droplets so Like it can spread just by breathing beside the infected individual, So It can spread Real Fast!
You can measure the amount of threat when on 26th Jan 2020 the Government of China has Paused all the Abroad Travels for now just to make sure This Virus doesn't get spread and In Hong Kong School's Classes have been postponed to Stop furthur Problems
Actually it is thought that in China, as Many Animals are Slaughtered and due to uncooked meat was consumed this Virus Transmitted From Bats into Human causing the Major Outbreak of it in China.
Recently that I checked The Overall Worldwide Confirmed Cases of Corona were about 1498 with 47 Deaths World Wide!! (25th jan 2020) and this number will be increasing!
Apart From China In Pakistan 4 suspected Cases has been Reported on 25th Jan 2020 in Multan out of which 1 has been confirmed as a case of Corona Virus , 3 Chinese Foreigners have been suspected for Corona Virus as well and being Quarantined in Services Hospital!
Unfortunately Pakistan doesn't have those Equipments to Diagnose Corona Virus so the samples taken were sent to China to check weather one contain this Virus or not.
Recently on 26th Jan 2020 , Dawn News published an article stating that about 28,000 Pakistani are residing in China and around 800 Permanent Residents Pakistani and 1500 Travel Frequent Traders are in China and About 500 Students are single handedly residing in Wuhan, China Alone , now What are the odds of This Disease getting into Pakistan??
Apart from China , Pakistan and Hong kong , The Corona Virus has also invaded
• Malaysia
• Nepal
• Australia
• USA
• Thailand
• France
• Vietnam
• Japan
• Taiwan
• South Korea
And Many I Don't know about.
I know Its New and Right now Only We know About Multan and Lahore! but How much its gonna take to spread? Remember the Outbreak of Dengue in 2019 ? Yes People need to get serious!
So What Are the signs and Symptoms one can have While having Corona Virus?
Before understanding that , Keep it in mind , this virus infects animals in abdomen like Diarrhea and all that but in human it affects our Respiratory System Mainly so the symptoms one is going to have will be common to Cold but due to the outbreak Keep a keen eye anytime you get these symptoms ok?
They are divided into Mild symptoms like
• Runny Nose
• Headache
• Cough
• Sore Throat
• Fever
And
Severe Ones like The ones called as MERS(Middle Eastren Corona Virus Respiratory Syndrome) and SARS(Severe Accute Respiratory Syndrome)
• High Grade Fever
• Cough with Mucus(Thick Discharge)
• Shortness of Breath
• Chest Pain
• Chest Tightness
And If Someone is One Chemotherapy, Steroids or Already known case of HIV he is going to more suspectible to that infection.

So God Forbid Someone Gets it! How Corona Virus is going to be Diagnosed?
It is mainly Diagnosed Clinically in many countries because of lack of Facilities to Isolate the Virus from the taken Specimen just as I mentioned That the Recent case in Multan and its sample were sent to China to get Diagnosed but Some Countries Do Have certain Facilities, Well But it is Diagnosed by
• Sputum Swabs and isolation of Virus
• Blood tests that indicate a Viral infection but This one is not that specific
The Main Reason of telling you all this, is not to scare you, Think practically you are here Reading this Article , Thank God for This Blessed life and Get yourself protected by taking these Precautions
1. Maintain Basic Hand Hygiene, Like Every time you eat or touch any animal or anyone with above mentioned Symptoms , Get it done! Minimum hand washing time is 20sec!
2. Avoid Unnecessary and Unprotected Animal contact specially Cows and birds but I prefer any animal , Avoid it
3. If you yourself are getting cold, avoid Sneezing in public and If you get one do it in your arms or Wear a mask so that You yourself don't damage others as well
4. Don't spit in public, Sorry to Say but this one is Real common Practice around here, understand the situation and Avoid it Kindly.
5. Stay at home when Got sick as I mentioned If you are sick , you'll have more probability to get this infection
6. Avoid Travelling to areas which has this outbreak in recent times , like wait till the wave falls..!!
7. Cook your Meat/Protein Thoroughly, just to make sure all Germs are killed and don't consume raw meat at any cost
Is there any Treatment of Corona virus?
Let me be very clear , Viral infections generally Don't have Treatments as they resolve on their own but We Do prescribe Supportive Treatment and Anti virals in Strong virus infections.
A Recent News Being published at "Al jazeerah" Mentioned that A new Vaccine has been found at 28th January 2020 and is being tested on infected stem cells in China and Its results are yet to be released

In terms of Corona Virus Unfortunately No any Vaccine or Treatment has yet to be found but the Aim is to.keep you strong so the supportive Treatment is started and Make you strong enough to get through that phase!
